 The  win  got Dan River back to even at 3-3. As for Altavista, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
 Dan River will head out on the road to  face off against  Nelson County at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Nelson County hasn't scored more than two runs for five games straight, a trend the  squad is eager to reverse. As for Altavista, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Gretna at 5:30  p.m. Altavista is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
