The biggest upset of the week belonged to Newark Memorial, who took down 549th ranked Moreau Catholic, 35-7.
Washington moved up to 365 from 446 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mission Valley. The Huskies climbed the ranks as a result of besting American 41-0.
The Eagles' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Jared Luty contributed 31 yards.
Luty was a passing and rushing force as American lost to Washington.
Luty was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 10 carries, he ran for 31 yards as Bret Casey's team lost to Kenneth Wittmer's team. Ryan Barker also contributed to the rushing game with 24 yards on the ground.
The Eagles' Barker and Deangelo Cox led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Barker has thrown for 272 yards this season, while Cox has 11 catches for 143 yards. Jared Lozoya from Irvington leads the league in rushing with 782 yards.
One of Mission Valley's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when American and the Vikings face off next week.
At the moment, the Eagles are in fourth, while Irvington is in third.
Mission San Jose lost to Zachary Silvernale's team 47-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
