Bishop Brady waltzed into their game  on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Hopkinton Hawks 8-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Giants have posted  against the Hawks since May 11, 2016.
 Abby Tyrrell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   nine  hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Madison Mundy was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's  played.  Natalie Sherman was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  doubles, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
 Bishop Brady  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in three consecutive  matches.
Bishop Brady's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 7-2-1. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hopkinton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1.
