Among those leading the charge was Deshawn Wells, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Jaydon Eason, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Fox Creek came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Strom Thurmond with points to spare, taking the game 57-43. The score was all tied up 23-23 at the break, but Fox Creek was the better team in the second half.
Chorsheak White and Connor Cannon were among the main playmakers for Fox Creek as the former scored 14 points and the latter dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Vining, who scored eight points.
Silver Bluff pushed their record up to 8-10 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Fox Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Silver Bluff have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 33 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Fox Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
