Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Crestwood

While Crestwood's win against Romulus wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Eagles 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted against the Eagles since May 28, 2019.

The victory was the third in a row for Crestwood, bringing their record up to 5-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Romulus, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Crestwood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-7 tie against Henry Ford Academy on the 5th. Hopefully Romulus paid attention to the Chargers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
