Montgomery got themselves on the board against Rudder on Friday, but Rudder never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Rangers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-0 back in March.

Anabella Kilpatrick looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Hannah Pettyjohn was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinlyn Mills, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Montgomery always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .654. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Montgomery's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-13. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Rudder, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

As of now, neither Montgomery nor the Rangers have any future games scheduled.
