With a playoff win on the line, Macomb rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Pittsfield Saukees.
 Macomb never let Pittsfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19,  28-26.

 Macomb can attribute much of their success to  Emily Westerhold, who  had 11  digs and two  aces. Westerhold is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's  played.  Cadence Hotz also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Macomb has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-14 record  this season. As for Pittsfield,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at six matches  and leaves them with a 22-13 record.
As of now, neither Macomb nor the Saukees have any future games scheduled.
