Oakland has gone a perfect 6-0 against Rockvale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Patriots will host Rockvale at 7:00 p.m. Oakland is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Oakland is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Tennessee's top teams: Blackman, who was ranked 15th at the time (Oakland was ranked fifth). The Patriots took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 32-0 win over the Blaze. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won five matchups by 32 points or more so far this season.
The critical scores for Oakland came from Joel Wyatt, Donte Cameron, Justis Haggard, and Craig Tutt.
Oakland was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 365 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Oakland's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Kullen Williams, Traivon Jackson, and Chevy Armour, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Blackman's side was Williams, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made seven total tackles.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rockvale, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over Siegel on Friday.
Oakland's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Rockvale, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Everything came up roses for Oakland against Rockvale in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 60-0 win. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do Rockvale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
