Meanwhile, Riverside Christian Academy put another one in the bag last Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on New Life Christian Academy with a sharp 8-0 win. Give the Royals' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Wayne Preparatory Academy's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-10. As for Riverside Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Wayne Preparatory Academy couldn't quite get it done against Riverside Christian Academy when the teams last played back in March as they fell 8-5. Can the Generals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
