Beauregard walked away with a 53-43 win over Loachapoka. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Beauregard.
Beauregard's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cooper Watson, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. Watson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last four games she's played. Lindsey Moulton was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 4 steals.
Beauregard's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Loachapoka, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Beauregard will be playing in front of their home fans against Horseshoe Bend at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Horseshoe Bend presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Beauregard in Alabama (Horseshoe Bend is ranked 147th, while Beauregard is ranked 342nd). As for Loachapoka, they will head out on the road to face off against Maplesville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
