They really took it to Trinity Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-21 victory at home. Given Prestonwood Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while Trinity Christian is ranked 992nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Prestonwood Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allie Swindell, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. Swindell is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Londyn Oliphant, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Prestonwood Christian's win bumped their record up to 26-6. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prestonwood Christian will take on Parish Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Prestonwood Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 181 points over their last three games. As for Trinity Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Nolan Catholic at 6:00 p.m.
