Mills has gone 9-1 against Menlo-Atherton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Bears at 4:00 p.m. Mills will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Mills came out on top against Terra Nova on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run first inning. The Vikings were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Hailey Pedroza looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Lucy Esquivel was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Morgan Chu also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.
Mills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Menlo-Atherton came up short against Sequoia on Tuesday and fell 7-4. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Ravens recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
Juliana Pandolfo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Loose, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
Mills pushed their record up to 13-3-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Menlo-Atherton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mills hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .360. However, it's not like Menlo-Atherton struggles in that department as they've averaged .338. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Mills skirted past Menlo-Atherton 7-6 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
