After flying high against Lima Central Catholic on Thursday, Hardin Northern came back down to earth. The Polar Bears took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spencerville Bearcats on Friday. The Polar Bears' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Morgan Stewart put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up four earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits (and not a single walk).
