Constitution had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Roxborough on Thursday. The Generals blew past the Wolves 21-11. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Constitution got a massive performance out of Jayden Gordy, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Gordy has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Wes Dingman, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.
The win (which was Constitution's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Roxborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
As of now, neither Constitution nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
