After soaring high against Knoxville last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Fairfield found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-29 punch to the gut against Clear Creek-Amana.
The loss dropped Fairfield's record to 1-0. The win bumped Clear Creek-Amana's record up to 1-0.
Next week, Fairfield take on Oskaloosa at 7:30 PM. As for Clear Creek-Amana, they will face off against Fort Madison.
