Bridgeport is 1-9 against Pateros since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bridgeport Mustangs will be staying on the road to face off against the Pateros Billygoats/Nannies at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th.
After soaring to 56 points the game before, Bridgeport were a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They were beaten by Odessa 56-22. Bridgeport was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-4.
Pateros has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 27 points or more this season. They really took it to Manson for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-26 victory on the road. Given Pateros' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Manson is ranked 201st), the result on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bridgeport now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Pateros, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.
Bridgeport took a serious blow against Pateros in their previous matchup on December 1st, falling 74-30. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Bridgeport was down 43-13.
