Josh Brice ran for two touchdowns and
Davonta Blake added two as well as
South Pointe (Rock Hill, S.C.) defeated Fort Mill (S.C.) 52-14 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Brice touchdown run in the first quarter, the Stallions led 35-7 at the half.
South Pointe expanded its lead to 38 points entering the fourth quarter. SP scored two times in the third, including once on a Blake touchdown run.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 31-28 win for the Rock Hill school.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Stallions, who lost to Spartanburg last week, 20-9. The defeat comes as a step back for Fort Mill, who notched a 27-21 victory over Broome in its previous outing.
South Pointe (4-1) goes up against Northwestern in a AAAA Region III game matchup next week, while Fort Mill (2-3) locks horns with York also in a AAAA Region III game.
