Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Georgetown walked away with it. They came out on top against the Waltrip Rams by a score of 7-2 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 19-13-1. As for Waltrip, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-8.

Georgetown will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
