Lesure Came Up Big in Washington's 35-18 Defeat
Washington was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Xavion Lesure did his best to prevent it. Lesure turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 70 yards.
Lesure and Washington will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Boonville at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th. The Hatchets had to take a loss when they last met the Pioneers, but Lesure had little to do with the loss: he picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 70 yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
