Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Blue Ridge Christian, who are still winless after their eighth match. Their rough 39-13 defeat to Shawnee Mission Christian on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. Blue Ridge Christian has not had much luck with Shawnee Mission Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Cornerstone Family's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.2 points per game. As for Blue Ridge Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Cornerstone Family strolled past Blue Ridge Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 34-20.
