Even though the Desert Christian Knights scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, the Arvin Bears still came out on top. Arvin put the hurt on Desert Christian with a sharp 78-56 victory. With that victory, Arvin brought their scoring average up to 51.2 points per game.
Arvin found their leader in underclassman Xzavier Pierson-Brooks, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Allen Stone, who scored 13 points.
Arvin's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Desert Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Arvin is on the road again on Saturday and play against Hesperia Christian at 1:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully Hesperia Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Friday. As for Desert Christian, they will take on Immanuel Christian at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
