East Canton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Audrey Wade, who scored nine points along with three steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayla Clapper, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
The win got East Canton back to even at 7-7. As for Central Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Canton will take on Strasburg-Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Strasburg-Franklin presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than East Canton in Ohio (Strasburg-Franklin is ranked 280th, while East Canton is ranked 639th).
