This season hasn't been kind to the Cahokia Comanches, who are still winless after their sixth match. They were outmatched by Centralia on the road and fell 71-24. Cahokia was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-13.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:
C'narri Griffin,
Armon Huff, and
Cornelius Griffin posted five points each.
Donald Collier held things down on the boards with three rebounds.
Cahokia bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Centralia, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cahokia will take on Nashville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nashville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cahokia in Illinois (Nashville is ranked 179th, while Cahokia is ranked 551st). As for Centralia, they will be playing at home against Breese Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Breese Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
