For the second straight game, Courtland will face off against Massaponax. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Courtland Cougars  face off against  Massaponax Panthers at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
Courtland barely beat Massaponax the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Courtland was the clear victor by  a  14-3 margin over Massaponax last Friday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
 Makayla Brooks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news, Courtland got a  massive  performance out of  Liz Gill, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Another player making a difference was  Maddie Wilson, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Massaponax's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Courtland, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
