Wautoma and Berlin are an even 4-4 against one another  since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Hornets were the clear victors by  an  11-2 margin over the Eagles on Friday. The Hornets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Ben Miller was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  struck out eight batters over  3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-5. He also put up two  RBI, which were his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jett Richard, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those  hits were  his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Carson Rose, who  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Berlin was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They lost  11-1 to Ripon.
 Berlin's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wautoma, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-3.
 Wautoma took their  victory against Berlin  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  17-7 score. Will the Hornets repeat their success,  or do  the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
