The Lumberton Panthers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They secured a 19-14 W over Resurrection Catholic on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lumberton also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.
Lumberton's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-4. Despite that those good results, the team's offense hasn't been rolling: across that stretch, they only averaged 15.0 points per game. As for Resurrection Catholic, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2.
Lumberton will be staying on the road on November 3rd to face off against Ethel at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. As for Resurrection Catholic, they will look to defend their home field on November 3rd against French Camp Academy at 7:00 p.m.
