The Harrison Blue Tide's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Memorial Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on January 15th. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
While Harrison couldn't quite beat Bard on Saturday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 36-point loss they were dealt on Friday. Harrison fell just short of Bard by a score of 40-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Harrison has suffered yet this season.
Meanwhile, Memorial lost to Ferris on the road by a decisive 45-29 margin on Saturday.
Harrison bumped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.2 points per game. As for Memorial, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.
Harrison came up short against Memorial in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, falling 53-46. Can Harrison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
