Lake Pointe Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 67-13 win over Grace Christian on the road. That looming 67-13 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lake Pointe Academy yet this season.
Lake Pointe Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Christian Mayhall, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Mayhall scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Luke, who scored 14 points.
Hampton Park Christian posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They really took it to Westgate Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-29 victory at home. Given Hampton Park Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while Westgate Christian is ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lake Pointe Academy's record is now 6-3. As for Hampton Park Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.
