Another player making a difference was Emery Newlin, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Indianapolis Lutheran lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caitlyn Brooks, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Brooks hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. Caitlyn Rose was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Monrovia and bumps their season record up to 10-8. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monrovia will take on South Putnam at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. South Putnam is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
