In what's become a running theme this season, Canandaigua Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 70-32 win over Greece Arcadia on the road. That 38 points margin sets a new team best for Canandaigua Academy this season.
Meanwhile, Penn Yan Academy beat Dundee/Bradford Central 58-47 on Wednesday.
The win (which was Canandaigua Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Penn Yan Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.
Canandaigua Academy took their win against Penn Yan Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 67-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Canandaigua Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
