The Fallbrook Warriors had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Clairemont 72-56 on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Leading Fallbrook to victory were Elliott Watkins and Xavier Charland. Watkins scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds, while Charland scored 19 points. Christian Myers was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 10 rebounds.
Fallbrook's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Clairemont, they have fallen quite a ways from their 22-6 record last season and are now at 1-2.
Fallbrook will look to defend their home court on Friday against Del Lago Academy at 7:00 p.m. Del Lago Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Clairemont, they will head out on the road to face off against Calvin Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Calvin Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Clairemont in California (Calvin Christian is ranked 188th, while Clairemont is ranked 569th).
