The Amanda Elzy Panthers extended their postseason success on Friday against the Choctaw County Chargers. They managed a 38-32 win over the Chargers. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Amanda Elzy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jevarion Glover led the charge by rushing for 145 yards on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 243 yards and a touchdown on only 16 passes. Caleb Brownlow did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 105 receiving yards.
Amanda Elzy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Choctaw County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
Amanda Elzy is on the road again on Friday and play against Mooreville at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Mooreville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Choctaw County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
