The Evansville Memorial Tigers are on the road again on Saturday and play against the Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs at 8:00 p.m. on December 16th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, it was a hard-fought match, but Evansville Memorial had to settle for a 62-60 defeat against Evansville Bosse.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Luke Ellspermann, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Asher Evans was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Raleigh-Egypt, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 81-63 loss to Memphis Business Academy on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did back in November (55), Raleigh-Egypt still had to take the loss.
Evansville Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Raleigh-Egypt, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
