Josh Harris Drops League-Best Performance on Friday
Starting off the list is Tatum's Josh Harris, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Harris threw for 223 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns.
The victory made it two in a row for Tatum and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Harris and Tatum will face off against Mesilla Valley Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Melrose Wins 17th-Straight Thanks to Jaxon Odom
Jaxon Odom's big game helped extend Melrose's winning streak to 17 on Friday. Odom made a major impact, rushing for 146 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (107.6) per game.
Melrose's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Odom and Melrose will head out to take on Gateway Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Josiah Roybal Goes Supernova in Melrose Win
Melrose picked up their 17th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Josiah Roybal. Nobody could stop Roybal as he rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 79 yards and two touchdowns.
For the season, Roybal has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 160.7 passing yards per game.

Landyn Hiles' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mescalero Apache over Gateway Christian
While Landyn Hiles delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Mescalero Apache. Hiles turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 64 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 111 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 63 yards.
For the year, Hiles has thrown those 2 touchdowns while averaging 22.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 72.2 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 119.6 rushing yards.

Nathaniel Duffy posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 36 yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 59 yards.
