The Century Diamondbacks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Shelley Russets at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Century is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
Last Thursday, Century ended up a good deal behind Preston and lost 59-45. While losing is never fun, Century can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Preston is ranked ninth).
Shelley suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They were the victim of a rough 76-54 defeat at the hands of Hillcrest. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Shelley has suffered against Hillcrest since February 22, 2020.
Century has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Shelley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
