The Williamson Marauders lost against the Gananda Central Blue Panthers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Williamson took a serious blow against Gananda Central, falling 82-45. Williamson was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-18.
Gananda Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Miles Caviness led the charge by scoring 29 points. Caviness is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in the last eight games he's played. Cooper Grassel was another key contributor, scoring 24 points.
Williamson has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Gananda Central, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.
Williamson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gananda Central, they will head out on the road to square off against East Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
