Trenton Miles continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pawhuska, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Canyon Hindman, who scored five points along with two steals.
Newkirk's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Pawhuska, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Newkirk will head out on the road to challenge the Goldbugs at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
