Fideles Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They took  a  16-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Francis Knights.
 Benjamin Medcalf threw for 147 yards and one  touchdown.   Caden Riggs was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.
  Eli Pawlish was a one-man wrecking crew For St. Francis. as he rushed for 200 yards and one  TD while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. Pawlish also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles and defending one pass.
Fideles Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Francis,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-1.
 Fideles Christian and St. Francis will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next  matchups. The next time the Rangers see the field they'll take on Unity Christian  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 12th. As for St. Francis, their break will end when they face Victory Baptist  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 12th.
