Baseball Recap: Beauregard Has No Trouble Against Holtville

Beauregard's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Holtville Bulldogs with a sharp 10-1 win. That nine run margin sets a new team best for the Hornets this season.

Beauregard has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. Holtville's loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Coincidentally, Beauregard and Holtville will both be playing Wetumpka the next time they take the field. Beauregard will host Wetumpka at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Holtville will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
