On Monday, Tuscarora suffered a tough 68-46 loss at the hands of Williamsport.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Williamsport to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jahmeir Byrd, who scored 20 points along with two blocks. It was the first time this season that Byrd scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Ceonta Wilmore, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Tuscarora dropped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Williamsport, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuscarora won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Linganore at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Linganore has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three matchups. As for Williamsport, they will play host again and welcome Boonsboro, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Williamsport focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Monday.
