They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Northeast Academy 71-23 at home. The victory was just what New Life Christian Academy needed coming off of a 75-54 defeat in their prior game.
New Life Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jamir Loftin out in front who scored 22 points along with six assists and six steals. The contest was Loftin's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Clayton Hedgepeth, who scored 22 points along with three steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Northeast Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
New Life Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Northeast Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.
