If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for West Hancock. On Friday they take on Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire at 7:00 PM. West Hancock strut in flaunting some offensive muscle with an average of 32.285714285714285714285714286 points per game.
Last Friday, West Hancock put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past West Fork 47-6. 47 seems to be a good number for West Hancock as the squad scooped up a win with the same point total in their match two weeks ago against North Union.
Meanwhile, we expected Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Belmond-Klemme, and they did. Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-23 walloping at Belmond-Klemme's hands.
West Hancock's victory lifted them to 5-2 while Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire's defeat dropped them down to 2-5. We'll find out if West Hancock can add another positive mark to their record or if Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire can shake off the loss and take the spring out of West Hancock's step.
