With a playoff game on the line, the Brock Eagles rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Bulldogs 76-21 on the road. The win was nothing new for Brock as they're now sitting on nine straight.
It was another big night for Brody Woods, who rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 251 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes. Woods was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards. Carson Finney was another key contributor, picking up 119 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Brock's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Cam Harris and Thomas Taylor who racked up four sacks between them.
Despite the loss, Clyde still got an impressive performance from Dai'jon Booker, who picked up 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Brock's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Clyde, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-2.
Brock will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Paradise at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Paradise is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Clyde does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
