 At the plate, Nichols let  Brynn Bacak and  Gabriella Seneca run wild. Bacak  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI, while  Seneca  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  three  RBI gave  Seneca a new career-high.  Maya Takabe also deserves some recognition as  she  scored her first  runs of the season.
The  win made it two in a row for Nichols and  bumps their season record up to 5-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8  runs in those games. As for Mount St. Mary Academy, their loss was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 3-6.
