If The Milton Hershey Spartans were feeling good off their 41-6 takedown of the Palmyra Cougars last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Milton Hershey was outmatched by Cedar Cliff at home and fell 54-18. Milton Hershey was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-12.
Erik Schriver was his usual excellent self, rushing for 186 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Schriver hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for three straight games. Bennett Secrest was another key contributor, throwing for 199 yards and two touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes.
Milton Hershey's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Cedar Cliff, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Milton Hershey will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern York at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Cliff does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
