The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ocean Township in their matchups with Manasquan: they've now lost five in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Manasquan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Will Burns, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 57 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Frank Furfaro, who rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown.
Ocean Township has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Manasquan, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-3.
