Brewbaker Tech is 10-0 against Beauregard since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Brewbaker Tech Rams will be playing at home against the Beauregard Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Brewbaker Tech is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brewbaker Tech had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They blew past the Saints 53-31.
Brewbaker Tech relied on the efforts of Kennedi Mcghee, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Erin Martin, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. Martin is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Jillian Baine was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Beauregard unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Valley 42-37. Beauregard has not had much luck with Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Brewbaker Tech has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-14 record this season. As for Beauregard, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10.
Everything came up roses for Brewbaker Tech against Beauregard when the teams last played back in February of 2022 as the squad secured a 60-30 win. Will Brewbaker Tech repeat their success, or does Beauregard have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
