The Liberty Raiders lost against the Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Liberty received a tough blow as they fell 66-49 to the Crusaders. Liberty has not had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Greater Beckley Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keegan Davidson led the charge by scoring 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davidson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Averyk Woodson, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Liberty dropped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Greater Beckley Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will take on the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greater Beckley Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Golden Knights at 6:45 p.m.
