East Limestone has won six straight games at home, while Madison Academy has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Indians will welcome the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. East Limestone is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
East Limestone came out on top against Westminster Christian Academy on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run first inning. The Indians blew past the Wildcats 15-2. Considering the Indians have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Coleby Davis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Davis was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Landon Compton was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was David Raddin, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
East Limestone kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westminster Christian Academy only managed six.
Meanwhile, Madison Academy fell victim to Bob Jones and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (10-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Madison Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for East Limestone, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.
East Limestone couldn't quite get it done against Madison Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 8-4. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
