While losing is never fun, Tradition Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 505th, while Somerset College Prep Academy is ranked 186th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Somerset College Prep Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chelsey Francis, who scored 20 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Francis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Curry, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Tradition Prep has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.
Tradition Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cardinal Newman at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cardinal Newman is coming into the matchup with five straight wins on the road, meaning Somerset College Prep Academy will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
